Shibani Dandekar's chocolate cake

My most cherished 'foodie' moment

I have always had a sweet tooth. I remember my mom preparing six cakes for my sixth birthday. I can never forget that day.

My favourite food item

A decadent chocolate cake.

My 'ma ke haath ka khana'

Makes me feel at home. Nothing compares with eating food cooked by my mother. I simply relish her cheesy noodles and potato baked dish with capsicum and chicken.

I am a great foodie but not a good cook

I hate cooking. Warming up food in the microwave is all I can do in the kitchen. But I know, if I try my hand at cooking, I'll be good at it for sure.

Men who cook are irresistible

Nothing's sexier than a man who can cook well.

To impress my man

I'd prepare a fivecourse meal. I had once tried my hand at spaghetti bolognese and it turned out quite well, as I had made it with a lot of love.

When at work, I prefer having

Anything healthy like salads, salmon and a fruit platter. I usually pack my meal from home as heavy food makes me sleepy.

A place that serves the best food

Bangkok, undoubtedly. Everytime I travel to Bangkok, I go nuts about the variety of food served there, on the street, as well as at fine dining restaurants.

A restaurant I often visit with my loved ones

I often go to Aoi, a new Japanese food joint in Bandra, Mumbai. I love the sushi they serve.

A dessert I'd never wish to give up

Dark Bavarian ice-cream. My non-food passions I Singing, dancing and music.
