Gujarati film The Good Road is grabbing headlines with its official entry to Oscars. The actor Ajay Gehi and director Gyan Correa are surprisingly shocked with the news.
'The Good Road' won the National Award for Best film and soon after their entry in Oscars, Gujarat CM and BJP's PM candidate Narendra Modi tweeted, "Delighted to know that Gujarati film 'The Good Road' has been chosen to represent India at Oscars. Congrats to cast & crew. My best wishes."
On being asked about the tweet by Narendra Modi, actor Ajay Gehi couldn't control his excitement. "I am so happy that our film has been appreciated. It's a very small film and any pat on the back is appreciated. It's great that Narendra Modi wished us and I wish I could call him and thank him," said Ajay Gehi.
