Celeb share their stress-busting secrets
Prince William relaxes with animal sounds, what's your stress busting mantra?
Stress is quite unavoidable. Whether it's high-velocity worry on the work front or a niggling irritation that has come up after a tiff your beloved, anxiety related to these situations can't escape you. But there are definite ways to deal with it. Prince William, for one, recently divulged his own mantra. The Duke of Cambridge and hands-on dad admitted that listening to sounds of the African bush settled him down. He is quoted as saying, "Being a new dad is stressful, but I relax by listening to the sound of newts. If I'm having a stressful day, I'll put a buffalo, a cricket, or a newt on and it takes me back instantly to the bush." We asked celebs back home what their favourite burnout mantra is (see right)...
My stress-buster is...
Kabir Khan: My kids' laughter.
Malaika Arora Khan: Cooking and working out.
Ashish Raheja: A brisk morning run always hits the spot with me and at home nothing beats playing with Luke, my new Beagle pup.
Nawaz Modi Singhania: Buddhist meditative chanting and also the sound of trickling water.
Sophie Choudry: I have a few American Indian chants that I enjoy listening to. Also, singing out aloud to Adele, Beyonce and other artists I adore, is by far the best stress-buster
