Deepika-Sonam: Equations change

Much water has flowed under the bridge since the time Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor shared giggles on Karan Johar's talk show, a couple of years ago. The two girls, who were good friends then, would meet often, party and b***h about others. 

While the two continue to stay in touch, trade sources insist that after tasting success in their individual capacities, both see each other as rivals first and friends later. 

Neither will go on record about their current professional equation. When pushed to do so, those close to them have observed a 'distant' tone when talking about the other. This isn't surprising. Top actresses go through this phase when they view each other as direct competition.
