Katrina should have taken bikini pics in right spirit: Deepika

Katrina's open letter to the media, chiding photographers for invading her privacy while she was on a beach holiday with Ranbir Kapoor, has elicited an interesting response from her bete noire Deepika Padukone.

In an interview to an international broadcast corporation, Dippy said that her colleague, who is now dating her ex, should have taken the 'bikini pictures' in the right spirit. "I don't think we should blame anybody. Something like this has never happened to me," said the actress who has dealt with a fair share of controversies without batting an eye-lid.

Almost as a word of caution, she added: "If you are a star, you are a public figure... people will talk about you... you ought to be very careful." Despite repeated attempts, neither Katrina nor her spokesperson were willing to react to this.
