This I-Day Vidyut wants women empowerment!

Action hero Vidyut Jammwal, who enthralled his female fans in Commando has a special wish for the women of India.

On being asked what would be one issue he wants India to get rid of this Independence, Vidyut said, "We've come a long way since 1947 and have seen progression in everything from thoughts to technology. However, the one thing that remains one of our biggest crutches is the lack to empowerment and education of women. Women deserve equal opportunities and also need to be given the right tools which can become their weapons when the time arises."

"In addition to having the power of mind, women also need to be taught the ability to protect and fight and have a basic understanding of martial arts and self defense. The government should honestly try and make martial arts a part of the curriculum for all students," concluded Vidyut.
