Why was Deepika missing from SRK’s Eid party?

Bollywood has been wondering why Deepika Padukone was missing from Shah Rukh Khan's Eid party.

The actress was in Milan to shoot for a commercial. Apparently, she had made this committment much earlier, because the Chennai Express team had not asked for her dates post release. Of course, Dippy had been closely in touch with SRK through text messages and was fully aware of the enormous response to her latest film.

When she returned to Mumbai on Monday, the actress was visibly happy as she smiled at the waiting press at the airport.
