'Zila Ghaziabad' director starts his own production house

Director Anand Kumar, who made the Sanjay Dutt-Vivek Oberoi film Zila Ghaziabad, has launched his own banner, Anand Kumar Productions, and has three films lined up under its aegis.

Says Kumar, "It is a great feeling to be your own master." Talking about the films he says, "There is Desi Kattey, Nabbu and Juliet. While the former two will be directed by me, Juliet will be helmed by my associate director."

He continues, "Desi Kattey is an action-human drama set in a small town near Kanpur. It tells the story of two kids who become India's best sharp shooters thanks to the childhood they spend in the katta, a factory for handmade pistols."

With the film, loosely inspired by Mahesh Bhatt's Saathi (1991), the film launches two star kids, while the villain's role will be essayed by a top Bollywood actor.
