Amrita Rao was recently in for a pleasant surprise when producer Ramesh Taurani called her up to applaud her performance in 'Satyagraha'.
He says, "After watching the film, I could not help calling Amrita. We have bonded since our Ishq Vishk days. She has grown immensely as an actress. I felt proud, especially because we were the ones to launch her."
He adds, "To hold your own in front of Amitabh Bachchan is not every actor's cup of tea. She has matured with every film and is a strong contender for awards. I have always told her to sign more films so that she continues to prove her mettle as an actress."
