Skincare before you go to bed
Given that many of us remain outdoors in the day for work or otherwise, the skin is exposed to the harsh sun and pollution in the city. Therefore, treating your skin before you go to bed is a must these days. Here's how:
Wipe off that makeup:
Sleeping with makeup on is a big no-no. The products on your face end up clogging the pores and harming the skin.
Moisturize:
Once the makeup is wiped clean, make it a point to apply moisturiser. This will hydrate your skin, which needs to recover after you've had a long day.
Jelly for the eyes:
Take a drop of petroleum jelly on the tips of your index finger and gently rub it on your eyelids. This will make you feel relaxed and take care of the sensitive skin in that area.
Not without lip balm:
While most of us use lip balm to add a bit of colour to the lips in the day, retaining that moisture in the lips is important at night before you go to bed.
