He has excelled at every job so far: Gary S Becker
I have a very high opinion of Raghu: he is a top-notch economist who has had great insights into the previous financial crisis (in a 2005 paper). In his new job as India's central banker (governor of the Reserve Bank of India) I expect him to do well though I understand that it is a difficult job.
I met him first at the University of Chicago and in various conversations I had with him he came across to me as thoughtful and smart besides being a brilliant economist. He is much younger than me, but I admire many of his works. He has written many good books, including, Saving Capitalism from the Capitalists.
