MUMBAI: Sameer Suneja, the newly named global CEO of Perfetti Van Melle, joins the elite club of Indian born managers taking on leadership roles on a global level.
After Indra Nooyi (CEO, PepsiCo), Vikram Pandit (former CEO, Citi Group), Ajay Banga (CEO MasterCard), Rakesh Kapoor (CEO, Reckitt Benckiser plc.) and Anshu Jain (co-CEO , Deutsche Bank AG), it is now Suneja who will lead a global organization.
Suneja is slated to take on the new role from October 1, 2013. It was not very long back that Suneja was appointed to a global role at the privately held Italian confectionary major.
